Due to the information in them I'm guessing so, but then why weren't they all timed from the last chapter and not the epilogue? I don't know why I'm struggling with this so hard but I CANNOT get it out of my head! Anyway, I also thought some things Spoiler the baseball throwing and the encounter with his father (I expected so much more) could maybe have been taken out and it wouldn't quite matter, I also didn't really care about the scenes with his mother, but that was just because she seemed to have huge paragraphs of talking about her past and stuff and I couldn't seem to care because we didn't really know her? Maybe I'm a black hearted bitch, but whatever. I really really loved it, BUT I also hate multiple epilogues and they confused me.
